A single point of entry
Connect to Wellbeing provides a single point of entry to mental health and alcohol & other drugs (AOD) services across the stepped care model in North Coast NSW. This ‘no wrong door’ approach provides an efficient and accessible way to find the right support to manage people's needs.
After receiving a referral, the Connect to Wellbeing team will complete a holistic assessment and triage before referring onto the most appropriate local service for a person's needs.
Easy access to the right support for each person's needs.

'No wrong door'
Through intake, assessment, triage and referrals, we work with each person to ensure that the right service is available at the right time.

Person-centred
Drawing on our experience and supported by holistic assessment tools, our skilled clinicians use a person-centred approach to understand each person’s needs.

Community connections
Staying connected to community supports helps to ensure each person receives the right support and referrers stay informed.

Stepped Care
Integrating with the broader health care system helps people to move easily between support services as their needs change.
Stepped Care mental health support
The Stepped Care model provides an approach to mental health that is person-centred, evidence-based, and supports people across the spectrum of needs.
Stepped Care is about ensuring that people can access the most appropriate services for their mental health needs at any given time.
Stepped Care integrates with the broader health care system, allowing people to link with other supports as required and step up and down to different levels of care as they move along their recovery journey.
